CELEBRATE   HALLOWEEN ON WHEELS ALL WEEKEND LONG

For San Francisco’s skaters, Halloween has always been a fantastic experience. Skating through this magnificent city in wild costumes and in full party mode is the kind of experience that makes this such a fantastic place to live. You are invited to come down and celebrate Halloween with the Midnight Rollers as we present a grand haunting of San Francisco on skates all weekend long.

We plan to get this party started on Friday, October 28 with the San Francisco Friday Night Skate. Skaters will gather at Ferry Plaza in front of the Ferry Building at Market St. and the Embarcadero. Come shake your groove thang with the "GodFather of Skating" David "D" Miles (in costume as Don King) as he grooves to the old school funk and roller disco beat from 7:30 to 9:00 P.M. We want to see the wildest, sexiest, oddest and weirdest costumes.

At 9:00 we will take off on our 12 mile skate/party tour throughout the City hitting all the hot spots like Pier 39, Aquatic Park, the Palace of Fine Arts, Union Street, the Broadway and Stockton Tunnels, even the South of Market area, PacBell Stadium and back to Ferry Plaza.

COSTS - The event is free. That's right, I said free if you have your own skates. However, we ask that you make a small donation of $5.00 if you need to rent skates and pads. We have plenty of both inline skates and roller skates. They will be available to rent along with safety gear for the "not ready for prime time" skaters.

Racers will skate along the course to the 180 turn 3.1 miles from the start.  There will be course marshals to make sure the turn is free of bike or pedestrian traffic and safe for your racing experience.
